WASHINGTON—Today, in an exclusive USA Today editorial, Rep. Ben McAdams (UT-04), Co-Chair of the Blue Dog Coalition’s Task Force on Fiscal Responsibility and Government Reform, wrote that Blue Dog members and other moderate Democrats delivered more than 75 percent of the seats that led to the Democratic majority in 2018. This moderate majority promised their constituents that they would break the partisan gridlock in Washington, conduct responsible governance, and deliver commonsense, bipartisan solutions. More than three-quarters of the Democrats who flipped seats in November are now members of the Blue Dog Coalition, the New Democrat Coalition or both—the moderate wing of the party.”
