The leadership of the Blue Dog Coalition issued the following statement today in response to the release of the President’s FY2015 budget proposal:

“As we review the President’s proposed budget, the Blue Dog Coalition remains committed to working in a bipartisan manner to enact policies that address America’s long-term debt and deficit. We recognize the importance of fixing our nation’s crumbling infrastructure and focusing on workforce development and job training programs, but we also see merit in revisiting big, bold budget plans that rein in government spending, reform our financially-distressed entitlement programs, and put us on a path to greater economic prosperity.”
