Blue Dogs Call on House, Senate Leadership to Focus on Bipartisan Solutions that are Specific to Pandemic Response

WASHINGTON—Today, the Blue Dog Coalition sent a letter to House and Senate leadership urging the leadership of both parties to work together and focus on bipartisan solutions that are specific to the response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

 

Blue Dogs, Republicans Call for Bipartisan Agreement to Fund Government Through End of FY2020

WASHINGTON—Today, the Democratic Blue Dog Coalition and numerous House Republicans, including members of the Republican Tuesday Group, sent a letter to House and Senate leadership calling on them to come to a bipartisan agreement that will fully fund the federal government through the end of fiscal year 2020.

 

Blue Dog Coalition Members Ranked Most Bipartisan House Democrats in 2017

Yesterday, the Lugar Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy announced the 2017 Bipartisan Index Rankings for members of Congress. Rep. Collin Peterson (D-MN), a founding member of the Blue Dog Coalition, ranked in the top spot on the 2017 Bipartisan Index out of all members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) was the highest-ranked House Democratic freshman. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and Blue Dog Co-Chair Rep.
